ROD PAINE & THE FULLTIME LOVERS

ROD PAINE & THE FULLTIME LOVERS

And what's not to love?

They are recent winners of ‘Band of The Year’ at the MBAS Victorian Blues Awards

Enjoying the success of their most recent Blues/Roots chart-topping album “Dirt on Velvet”.

Smashed it at the recent Broadbeach Blues Festival.

Still cooking up a stew based on dirty electric Blues, Roots and R&B of the early sixties, with splashes of Country balladry, Gospel, Americana and Rock n Roll, you get the full flavour, their sound displays the music evolution of this great mainstay act.

Popular across Melbourne's local scene, ARBA's selected interstate act at Norwood Live earlier this year, they are a sought-after, crowd-pleasing headliner at festivals and events from their home base of Melbourne.

This act is not to be missed!

TRIBUTE TO CREAM

TRIBUTE TO CREAM

A tribute act at the Workers Club?

Well yes and because we think it is a very good show.

James Meston purchased a new guitar, an Eric Clapton ‘Blackie’ edition and has created a lot of excitement in using it when performing live with Rob Eyers and Denis Surmon: AND there will be even more excitement when special guests Chris Finnen and Michael Brown bring their musical skills onto the stage.

We hosted their first gig back in March and they are, off the back of another sensational show at the Murray Delta Juke Joint, returning to the SWC.

The next bit.

Here we go, and get ready for it - .because I am pretty happy with the effort:

If you like FRESH CREAM then grind your DISRAELI GEARS and point those WHEELS OF FIRE towards 93 The Esplanade, Semaphore before it’s GOODBYE.
