Adelaide’s own award-winning blues singer, Persia Brokensha, with her rich vocals and smouldering stage presence, will bring you classics from the likes of Aretha Franklin, Koko Taylor and Bonnie Raitt.
The Persia Brokensha Band sees Persia collaborating with veteran Adelaide musicians Brett Stafford (guitar), Shaun Duncan (bass) and Peter Matzick (drums) with blues driven tunes from the golden age to contemporary.
Persia has graciously agreed to allow an Adelaide Roots & Blues Association Youth in Blues alumni Amin Slee and Lachlan Sullivan to show their skills playing as the opening act/first set.
