Having not visited SA for some years due to COVID restrictions Nick is here touring his latest album Guitar Music which has a typically broad palette of influences which includes wonderful renditions of acoustic guitar classics and a nod to his country blues heroes.

In a double bill with Chris Finnen & band you will get a laid back opening set by the CFB, followed by Nick playing an acoustic set, and then, as a bonus because Nick has carried his Telecaster across the border the gig will finish with Nick, Chris, and the band performing an electric set.

You know Chris, but you may not be familiar with Nicks Charles so here is a bio.

Known the world over as 'Australia's virtuoso of acoustic roots & blues' Nick's recordings and performances feature spellbinding guitar, riveting songs and stories gathered from 40 years on the worlds musical highways. He has won nearly every major award and accolade this country has to offer countless times including: Song of the Year 2013 and 2014 (Australian Blues Awards), multiple winner of the Album of the Year (MBAS), Song of the Year (MBAS) multiple times, The Age Blues Album of the Year 2016, Port Fairy Folk artist of the year 2014. Nick has toured the USA 13 times performing more than 300 shows there as well as opening and performing with the likes of John Hammond, Ralph McTell, Guy Clarke, Taj Mahal and BB King.
